How to Remove All Your Likes on LinkedIn
Short answer: open your profile → Activity → Show all → Reactions tab, and click your highlighted reaction (Like, Celebrate, Support…) under each post to remove it. LinkedIn has no “unlike all” button, so for hundreds of reactions a bulk tool saves hours.
Why remove old likes
Your reactions are part of your public activity. Anyone who opens your profile can see the posts you liked, including old ones from a past job, a different industry or topics you no longer agree with. Before a job search or a career change, a quick cleanup keeps your activity in line with who you are now.
Find every post you reacted to
- Click Me → View profile.
- Scroll to the Activity section and click Show all.
- Open the Reactions tab. It lists the posts you reacted to, newest first.
Remove a like by hand
- On the Reactions tab, find the post.
- Click your highlighted reaction button under the post (it shows Like, Celebrate or another reaction in color).
- The button turns gray: your reaction is removed.
Each reaction takes one or two clicks plus scrolling. That is fine for a few posts, but people who have used LinkedIn for years often have hundreds or thousands of reactions.
Remove all likes in bulk
Activity Cleaner for LinkedIn is a free Chrome extension that removes your reactions one by one for you, on the Reactions page you open yourself.
- Install Activity Cleaner from the Chrome Web Store and open LinkedIn in Chrome.
- Click the extension icon and choose Reactions.
- Run a dry run to count how many reactions you have. Nothing is changed.
- Uncheck “Dry run” and start. Leave “How many items” at All or type a smaller number.
It works at a slow, human-like pace with breaks, runs entirely in your browser and never asks for your password. The free plan removes up to 10 items a day; Pro removes the limit.
Tips
- Work in sessions. Removing hundreds of reactions in one go looks like a bot. Spread it over several sessions.
- Keep the ones that matter. Reactions to colleagues’ milestones or your company’s posts can stay. Stop the cleanup when you reach them, or remove a set number at a time.
- Know the risk. LinkedIn’s User Agreement restricts automated tools, so use any automation with moderation and at your own risk.
FAQ
Does LinkedIn notify people when I remove a like?
No. LinkedIn does not send a notification when you remove a reaction. The reaction simply disappears from the post’s reaction count.
Can I unlike all posts at once with a LinkedIn setting?
No. LinkedIn has no built-in option to remove all reactions at once. You can only remove them one by one, by hand or with a tool that does the clicks for you.
Can I remove reactions on the LinkedIn mobile app?
Yes, one at a time: open the post and tap your reaction again. The Activity Cleaner extension works only in Chrome on a computer.
